She worked as a freelance designer in Paris and moved north in 2008 to Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In Rotterdam, she was involved in diverse projects: from interior architecture, scenographies, product design, urban concepts, film designs and illustrations.

Najla has been selected by the Starch Foundation in 2010, foundation which promotes lebanese emerging designers and has opened her own office in Beirut.

She worked on several installations and interior design projects including a hair installation at Maison Rabih Kayrouz, installations at the Beirut Art Center, interior and furniture design for the Starch retail space in Saifi Village, Downtown Beirut.
