Jean-Claude Hug
Jean-Claude Hug was born in 1939 in La Walck (Lower Rhine). His studio is situated in Domont in the Val d'Oise.
During his creative journey, Hug designs sculptures of organic masses otherwise very abstract stylized, thin and curved, carved in marble and other materials. He then left marble to experiment with other materials including crude or polished brass. However it is in stainless steel, which he acquired great skill and for ten years has become his favorite material.
He has produced over 1000 works including large scale monuments around the world: Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, New York, Miami ...
