Borek Sípek (born 1949) is a prominent Czech designer. Born in Prague, Borek Sípek is renowned for his individual, unusual, colorful and rich style. He graduated from the University of Applied Art in Hamburg. He experiments with unexpected and often opulent shapes.
Bořek Šípek is said to be the father of "Neo-Baroque". His architectural works and other designs are known worldwide, and he retains offices in Amsterdam, Prague and Shanghai.
He is the architect of Prague Castle under the presidency of Václav Havel.
